What do men want?

What do men want i ask?
Truth is Sex, Food, Money.
Jokes Don’t keep a man.
Popular opinion, right?

I may not exactly be right,
But i say what a man wants is just peace,
Peace of mind!!
Yes as simple as that!!!
Men wants to be understood,
We go through a lot,
A great lot, but the difference is we keep it all to ourselves, not because we like it, but it feels like when its said, peace still wont come.

At that exact time, the ladies, not all though, would also remember there is a problem they are also facing and compare it subconsciously to what you're going through.

Men act strong outside but it doesn’t mean we don’t cry and sure doesn’t mean we are weak.
We are strong outside to comfort you, to be there for you, to give a shoulder to cry on, and to let you know you can go look for trouble out there and come back, cause we got you.

But ladies! give your men room to cry,
give him room to be alone,
give him room to talk and let him own the talk,
give him him,
yes give him his time and attention,
don’t always take it away from him, he needs it. Same way he needs your time as well.

Mans not hot they say,
he shivers,
be the hood he puts on.
I ask again, what do men want?

NYSC Orientation Camp 1 I thought i was living the life and Gods plan for me was going quite smoothly until i saw my posting for NYSC which read Kebbi state, asin i mean, in this same Nigeria i ask?  I quickly went to the map to look for this state and i was like okay. Its nigeria and one idiot was telling me Don’t you know kebbi? Its the rice basket of Nigeria, please do i look like i am suffering from lack of rice???? Not long before camp i was told the camp won’t be in Kebbi but in sokoto, i was like what!!!! Soko what? I checked the map again, its farther than a Kebbi sef.  I went through all the stages of denial, i mean i ended up settling to accept that my life is going to pass through sokoto.  Not like I haven’t been to the north before, i was born in Jos and stayed there a while before relocating, i also tried to work this NYSC something and then men, Kebbi state, camp is sokoto.  The whole issue started with my packing, i had little or no time...

My NYSC Update 1

My NYSC Update 1 Hello, Do you remember how i was ranting about my posting to kebbi? Oh well, this is just to say the letter we have all been waiting for came two Sundays ago.  I have been relocated to Lagos state, however to print your redeployment letter you need a clearance from the state Coordinator, i mean, what?  Which state Coordinator, how? My joy turned bitter fast. I contacted all the links i have, and you have, 🤣 but really nothing could be done without me, that didn’t even report or do clearance to go to kebbi and get release letter etc, mo gbe (i am in trouble) i said to myself, with which money and strength, no available flight to kebbi on Mon or Tue except Wednesday.  So i went via road, it was one hell of a road trip, what! I saw how people in the north do live, it’s disheartening, and at a point i thought it would have been nice to help them out a bit, but my oath says i must take care of myself first now, biko they would be fine.  ...

Just like it was a joke, they woke us up every morning by 5:20am or so, I mean, what????!!!!! At my age and “Status” and telling me to double up, I don’t get it, I mean if I walk I would still get there before those that haven’t even dressed up yet, but no I must double up 😃 .  The good part is for once, girls needed guys, I mean you would hear statements like please come closer, hold me, cover me, its not what you thinking dear, but the Cold was crazy with the breeze, we all loved each-other just to survive the cold, no forming at all.  After which we do the joggings and all everyday except sunday though.  And one time they announced they caught a thief and unfortunately the guy was from my platoon, I just hid my face as the platoon leader, remember I said leadership in this case is entirely different.  Then I met this soldiers, two of them, obviously not older than my junior brother telling me to leave the food I was eating and rush to the parade grou...
